Around The Clock Security, Inc.

Mr. Anthony Dexter Ravenell is the owner and registered agent of Around The Clock Security, Inc. with 20 plus years of law enforcement experience. His overall duties and responsibilities consist of the day-to-operations of the company. Mr. Ravenell is a native of Cross, South Carolina and holds a B. A. Degree in Political Science with a concentration in the Criminal Justice field from Winthrop University. He is also certified by the following: Armed Officer by the GA Board of Detectives & Private Security Agencies, Global Career Development Facilitator (Career Counselor) by the National Center for Credentialing & Education, and a Fugitive Recovery Agent by the Georgia Association of Professional Boardsmen. Mr. Ravenell began his professional career as a Hospital Investigator at Harlem Hospital Center in Harlem, New York. He later relocated to Columbia, South Carolina where he worked as a Death Row Correctional Officer and served as a member of the prison’s Reserved Emergency Platoon Team. Mr. Ravenell received the Marksmanship Award and graduated second overall in his class from the South Carolina Department of Corrections Training Academy. Later he was promoted into administration as a Prison Administrator for many years. Upon relocating to Greenville, South Carolina, Mr. Ravenell assumed the responsibility of starting up the Greenville County Disabilities and Special Needs Board’s first High Management Division for the agency. Additionally, he was employed part-time by the Holiday-Inn Corporation in the areas of Security / Concierge and Guest Services throughout his stay in Greenville. After his tenure with the Special Needs Board, he was employed as the Deputy Clerk of Court Supervisor and the Alternative Sentencing Coordinator for the City of Greenville Municipal Court and later worked with the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.With years of experience and training, Mr. Ravenell started his business, ADR-Services, a Young Adult Alternative Sentencing Program and a Defensive Driving Training Program which he taught at Clemson University, Tri-County, Greenville and Spartanburg Technical Colleges as well as in Charlotte and in Raleigh / Durham, NC. Coupled with running his business, Mr. Ravenell also worked at Sunbelt Human Advancement Resources, Inc. as the Senior Employment and Training Counselor for at-risk youth. He successfully developed and coordinated the County’s first annual Summer Youth Employment Fair in 2005 and briefly instructed Work Readiness at Greenville Technical College. Along with being the Chairman of The Mentoring Group for At-Risk Youth, Mr. Ravenell also enjoys volunteering and reading at his kids school. After relocating  to the Atlanta, Georgia area, Mr. Ravenell was hired as the acting Probation Officer Manager for Providence Community Corrections in Griffin, Georgia. Because of his aspiration to own his security company, in August of 2007, Mr. Ravenell founded, “Around The Clock Security, Inc”.
